This historic, beautiful and delightful hotel is located on Royal Street in Mobile, Alabama and is definitely a gem in the Gulf Shores of Alabama.

This southern gem was originally built in 1852 and enjoyed years of success before closing in the mid-70s for a well planned and long deserved renovation. The Battle House is due to reopen in the summer of 2007 following an elaborate and costly renovation. The whispers are plentiful and many are waiting with baited breath to see the luscious overhaul of this magnificent resort.

This genteel Southern lady is scheduled to re-open during the middle of 2007 and focuses on pure decadence and opulence. With more than 200 rooms and more than 30 suites, this 8 story non-smoking hotel is located near the Robert Trent Jones Golf trail and is designed to allow you to feel as if you have stepped into a little piece of heaven on earth. The attention to detail and this amazingly appointed site make this luxurious hotel a must see in Alabama.
